Announcing our 2018 String Summit Lineup Additions!

We’re over the moon excited to announce the addition of so many talented artists to our already jam-packed Northwest String Summit lineup! After a year without them, our Grammy Award Winning buddies The Infamous Stringdusters will perform 2 Nights on our Main Stage! You’ll want to get your boogie shoes on for an extra special Saturday Late Night performance with Leftover Salmon’s Funky Brass Breakdown with the High Country Horns featuring Jennifer Hartswick and Natalie Cressman (both of Trey Anastasio Band) and Seattle’s own Skerik (Garage A Trois, Les Claypool) on horns! And that’s not all from Leftover Salmon! They will also perform a very special set of The Music of Neil Young as we host a Harvest Party in the legend’s honor.  

Keller Williams is back for a unique performance with a plethora of Andys – Andy Hall and Andy Falco (both of The Infamous Stringdusters) and Andy Thorn(Leftover Salmon). You won’t want to miss The Shook Twins as they take it back MTV-style with their Total Remix Request Live late night show, where they’ll be taking requests, remixing things up, adding some friends into the mix and playing a set of music like none other! Visit http://bit.ly/ShookTwinsTRRL and vote for which songs you want to see them play in a different way at NWSS this summer! You know we wouldn’t miss the opportunity to bring back Strummit’s own All-Female Supergroup SIDEBOOB ft. Allie Kral (Yonder Mountain String Band), Mimi Naja (Fruition), The Shook Twins, and friends whose set is sure to leave you sweaty, tired, and begging for more! And we’re very excited to welcome back Portland’s own rising star John Craigie for a special Sunday set.

Wisconsin’s Horseshoes & Hand Grenades are back with a Main Stage slot this year, Brad Parsons & Benny “Burle” Galloway will join forces for a special set, and you know it wouldn’t be String Summit without our buddy Pete Kartsounes! The Last Revel has blown up since the last time we saw them and we’re thrilled to have them back. We’ve got Portland’s Taylor Kingman & The Holy Know-Nothings featuring Lewi Longmire, Jay Cobb Anderson & Tyler Thompson (Fruition), and Josh Simon (Shook Twins) joining us this year, as well as the Arthur Lee Land Trio, Australia’s Teskey Brothers with their smooth soul sounds, Colorado’s The Drunken Hearts, and Minnesota’s Useful Jenkins.
