Announcing the 2018 Northwest String Summit Initial Lineup!

We’re so excited to bring all of these talented artists to our String Summit stages and for all of us to share the experience of another year together at Horning’s Hideout.

 

Our perennial hosts Yonder Mountain String Band will be back for THREE big nights of music, and for their tenth year at String Summit, Greensky Bluegrass will also join us for THREE nights!  We are beyond psyched to welcome back String Summit favorites Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon, Fruition, and The Lil Smokies all for TWO nights each!

Mandolin Orange, Steep Canyon Rangers, Dustbowl Revival, and Front Country will all bring their beautiful and unique takes on bluegrass and Americana, and rest assured, String Summit family Danny Barnes and Darol Anger & The Furies will be back to do what they do best. World’s Finest and Yak Attack will be sure to bring a party with each of their sets. Old Salt Union and The Lowest Pair will each no doubt lead us on a one-of-a-kind musical exploration. Our 2017 Band Competition winners, The Talbot Brothers will return, as will Band Competition finalists The Deer. Deep Fried Pickle Project will bring old-thyme jug band music and all kinds of workshops to our Not For Kid’s Only Family Area.

We’re also thrilled to welcome more newcomers Dead Horses, The Honey Dewdrops, Driftwood, and Useful Jenkins for the first, and hopefully not last time this year.
